Inova Loudoun Offers Lecture on Robotic Hip, Knee Replacements

As part of its free “Ask the Expert” lecture series, Inova Loudoun Hospital will feature a lecture on “Robotic MAKOplasty Total Hip & Knee Replacements” on Wednesday, Aug. 28 from 6-7:30 p.m. 

         Dr. Nauman Akhtar, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and medical director of Inova Loudoun’s Joint Replacement Program, will present information and answer questions about the latest advances in computer navigated and robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements. Attendees will also have an opportunity to “meet the robot.” 

         The lecture will be held at Inova Loudoun Hospital–Physician’s Office Building, 44055 Riverside Pkwy., Suite 110, in Lansdowne. Follow signs for the South Hospital Entrance.
