Salter Appointed to Hamilton Town Council

The Hamilton Town Council voted unanimously Monday night to appoint Planning Commissioner Catherine Salter to fill a seat that was vacated by Michael Snyder when he resigned last month after 29 years.

Salter will serve on the council until May 2020, at which point the town will hold a special election to fill the spot for the remainder of the term, which expires in June 2022.

She was selected from a candidate pool of five, which included Board of Zoning Appeals members Mattias Caro and James Bourne, Century 21 realtor Judy McHenry and new town resident Robert Beach.
