A Manassas man suspected in the May 10 sexual assault of an Ashburn woman was arrested last night in New York.
Sunil Nasim, 47, has been charged with aggravated sexual battery and forcible sodomy.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Nasim encountered the victim while he is delivering pizza. On the day of the assault, he had delivered food to the victim’s Maison Carree Square
Home around noon. Later in the day he called the victim back and said he had more food that he would bring to her. During the second delivery, the suspect allegedly groped the victim and sexually assaulted her. The assault was later reported to law enforcement.
During the course of the investigation Nasim left the area and was located by the New York State Police on June 6. He remains held in the Warren County Jail in New York pending extradition.
The case was investigated by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit.
