Community Farm Provided 25,000 Meals in First Season

With the help of volunteers, the JK Community Farm near Purcellville last year produced enough food to provide for 25,000 meals.

Recently the farm donated 4,869 pounds of beef and pork to Loudoun Hunger Relief and 2,531 pounds of pork to Fairfax-based Food for Others.

The farm was established by as a nonprofit initiative of JK Moving Services to reduce food insecurity by growing produce and protein at its farm donating it to area food banks.
