Sister Hazel Brings New Tunes to Tally Ho Stage

‘90s rockers Sister Hazel return to Leesburg on Saturday night on the first leg of a nationwide tour supporting their newly released EP, “Fire.”

The Gainesville, FL, band rose to national prominence in 1997, when “All for You” topped the adult alternative charts as a summertime hit and propelled their second album, “… Somewhere More Familiar,” to platinum status.

The band is not one to simply feed the audience’s appetite for nostalgia of decades past. Recently, it’s been finding success on the country charts and the new six-track EP (with a bonus seventh tract) is the follow-up to the band’s Billboard-topping EP’sWater” and “Wind.” It features tracks written with top county music songwriters Monty Powell and Jennifer Hanson, as well as two co-written with Loudoun singer-songwriter Todd Wright.
