Leesburg’s Town Attorney Receives Raise

Barbara Notar has received a vote of confidence from the Town Council in the form of a salary increase.

The Town Council on Tuesday approved a 3 percent salary increase for Notar, who has served as town attorney for four years.

The increase brings Notar’s total annual salary to $151,943.69.

Councilman Tom Dunn was the lone dissenting vote regarding her salary increase. Notar and Town Manager Kaj Dentler are the only two town employees who serve at the pleasure of the council, meaning the council has sole authority to hire or terminate those positions.
