Vote for Best Spooky Scene Downtown

Visitors to downtown Leesburg are likely to stumble upon quite a ghoulish scene, as windows of its shops and restaurants have been transformed for Halloween.

Students from Tuscarora, Heritage, and Loudoun County high schools spent the better part of the last week decking out store windows for Halloween as part of the second annual window decorating contest sponsored by the Leesburg Downtown Business Association.

The public is asked to join in on the fun by voting for their favorite window. An album has been created on the LDBA’s Facebook page and voters are asked to “like” their favorite painting. Voting closes Tuesday, Nov. 1, and the winning school will be announced on Friday, Nov. 4.
