Ted Garber is Saturday evening’s headliner at the Acoustic on the Green concert in Leesburg.
The popular singer-songwriter says the free show on the town green “hands down is the highlight of my summer concert schedule year after year.”
“I nicknamed this series ‘The Outdoor Birchmere,’ based on the intensity of the listening audience,” he said in a Facebook posting this week, referencing the intimate Alexandria music hall.
Garber, a longtime regional favorite who recently moved to Loudoun, performs a mix of original songs as part of a repertoire he classifies as Blue Americana Rock.
The show runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at Leesburg’s Town Hall, 25 W. Market St. Lawn chairs, blankets and picnics are encouraged; smoking, alcohol and pets are not permitted.
